Upstairs, Downstairs

Last night Raina cupped my face with her hands and stated "I'm holding your face so it doesn't drop off." Geez I really must be getting old. And a two-year-old has no business saying such things to her mother. But perhaps it has something to do with moving two houses in the past month. We are exhausted, but happy in our new home. Grandma and Grandpa get back from their trip next week and will move in upstairs. Raina will love it. The Blancos are staying with us in the meantime and Raina is enjoying waking up to have breakfast with her cousin Kaylee. We are creating our own little village with my parents, my brother, and our friend John sharing a house with us. We are still working out how many showers the solar hot water system will service, and Tia the poodle is slowly getting used to the new digs while we are getting used to having a dog in the house. It is an adventure!
